Hello Commisioner
I am a territorian who is extremely concerned about the likelihood of gas companies coming in to benefit from the coal seam gas industry within the boundaries of our Northern Territory. It would be especially disappointing if gas companies were to benefit from the tax concessions currently proposed by ANDEV, as incentives for companies to develop the North.
You must understand Comissioner, why we the people have reason to be concerned for the future of our countryside and the welbeing of the animals and plants that rely on the purity of our groundwater. This relatively new industry has a reputation for environmental mishap and contamination of aquifers.
Please do everything in your power to halt the insanity of fracking in Australia and in the NT.
