On 12 December 2017 the Inquiry released a draft Final Report which details the Inquiry’s draft recommendations that would mitigate risks the Inquiry has identified in regards to the potential of hydraulic fracturing in the Northern Territory.

The Inquiry announced on 14 February 2018 that all submissions regarding its draft Final Report must be received by Sunday 25 February 2018. No further submissions will be accepted after this date to allow the Panel to read the submissions and to enable the Inquiry to complete its Final Report and hand down to Government in March 2018.
As part of the Inquiry’s ongoing community engagement and consultation program, hearings were held in Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek from 5 – 12 February 2018. Public hearings were live streamed to the Inquiry website and uploaded to the Submission Library.
