To Whom it May Concern,

The health and environmental risks posed by fracking far outweigh the potential benefits of natural gas extraction over coal.

A number of scientific research articles exploring this issue can be located via:

Once aquifers are polluted, this cannot be undone.

When water tables are drained to provide the immense amounts of water required by the fracking process, not only the natural environment but also the agricultural industry suffer greatly.

Please place a moratorium upon fracking in order to devote time and funding to more sustainable projects that do not pose such immense to the health and wellbeing of our nation.
